As an organization, the Fox River Grove Recreation Council (FRGRC) has one overriding goal: to provide the young people of our community the opportunity to experience the benefits and enjoyment of participating in organized athletics. The Rec Council is committed to providing our youth an opportunity to develop physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually through participation in sporting activities.
Participation in sports helps to develop lifetime skills. Specifically, the elements of self-control, discipline, and commitment are developed and practiced. Participants are encouraged to make the right decisions and choices in sports as well as the right decisions and choices in life.
The FRGRC is composed entirely of volunteer members, and is a qualified 501c3. |

| For EACH sport a family signs up for, a volunteer fee/volunteer sign up is required.
A $40.00 volunteer fee will be charged to those families that do not volunteer their time with the Recreation Council per sport. Volunteer sign up is done during online registration.
If the obligation is not met, an additional $40 is added to the original fee and the family will NOT be permitted to sign up for volunteering. Instead, when registering for another sport, another $40 fee for the new sport is added to the $80 for a total volunteer fee of $120, which must be paid at the time of registration. |
